LIGHTINING BOLT

| Posted in | Posted on Monday, August 06, 2012

I am proud to be a *Jamaican.

If you missed it earlier Jamaica and Puma's Usain Bolt smoked his opponents in the 100-meter dash and broke the Olympic record with a blazing time of 9.63 seconds to take the gold medal. This contest has been my Olympic favorite growing up. I still remember when Ben Johnson won (then later stripped of his medal) in 1988. I dragged my brother outside with a timer and tried to emulate him. I think I clocked in at 30 seconds midway and just gave up, lol. The speed these athletes go never ceases to amaze me.

Today was no different.

Congratulations to all the Bolt fans out there and to my Puma family! Time to celebrate with some good weed (kidding), Jamaican jerk chicken and Red Stripe!

* I'm not really Jamaican but hey if Snoop Lion can easily convert, then I should too!
